A friend showed this to me over the Christmas holidays, and I’d forgotten to blog it up.

The Gigapxl Project (note the spelling) is worth a visit. Go to the image gallery and view the zoomed in images. What appears to be little more than a speck at normal rendering resolution reveals itself at amazing resolution when you go in.
