Hikky brrrrr!
Shortly after the I Spy series, Bill Cosby did a set of funk jam sessions with Quincy Jones, and some of the artists working with Jones at the time. Part of their objective was to create a theme song for (the original) Bill Cosby Show. They've been recently released in a new CD. They sound surprisingly fresh. Even better though is the accompanying disc New Mixes, Vol. 1 CD, which features remixes of tracks from the original sessions by a bunch of young current talent. I now own copies, but I first heard them on this All Things Considered show.
